MEET OUR TEAM

Joel Scheele

Senior VP

Joel joined Old Town as a Senior Project Manager, responsible for providing overall direction and planning for the project team. He works closely with the architect, engineers, and the subcontractors to ensure a timely and on budget completion of a new construction project.

Joel holds a degree in Construction Management from Purdue University, IN. After graduation, Joel joined a construction management company as a Project Engineer and worked his way up to be a Sr. Project Manager over a period of 15 years.

Outside of work, you can find Joel sweating it out in a gym or participating in numerous CrossFit competitions. He also enjoys spending time at his family’s lakes house, indulging in waterskiing and fishing.

Vipul Sharma

Senior Project Manager

As a project manager, Vipul works closely with the Sr. PM’s to control all elements of a new construction project. In addition to tracking project metrics and leading the submittal, RFI and change order process, Vipul is responsible for active coordination between the subcontractors to ensure Old Town quality standards are being met.

Vipul graduated with a degree in Construction Management from Purdue University, IN. Upon graduation, he worked with our sister company Old Town Design Group as an estimator before coming on board as a Project Engineer. Most recently Vipul was nominated to be a part of the EDGE|Work Emerging Leaders Program.

Outside of work Vipul enjoys spending time exploring new coffee shops and restaurants in the city. You can also find him on a kayak or hitting new hiking trails in the summer.

Salim Hammedzada

Superintendent

Salim works as an Assistant Superintendent, primarily supporting the project superintendent in managing the daily operations on the jobsite. In his role, Salim is responsible for conducting safety audits, performing punch lists and QA/QC inspection walks.

Salim is currently enrolled at the Construction Management program at Purdue University, IN. In the past, he has worked as a foreman for a local concrete company in Indianapolis. Salim is also an active Staff Sergeant at the Indiana National Guards.

Patrick Groogan

 Project Manager

Patrick joined Old Town Construction as an Assistant Project Manager. His primary responsibilities include assisting the Sr. PM’s and PM’s with document control and tracking metrics. He is also responsible for active coordination between architects, engineers and subcontractors.

Patrick is a graduate from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and holds multiple years of experience as a construction manager in residential construction and a operations manager in the consumer goods industry. Outside of work, Patrick enjoys spending time traveling with his family and cheering for multiple local sports teams. He also helped launch a family affinity group to help unite caregivers to cultivate connections among families in various life situations.

Clifford Wadsworth

 Project Manager

Clifford works as a Project Manager for Old Town Construction. In addition to tracking project metrics and leading the submittal, RFI and change order process, Clifford is responsible for active coordination between the subcontractors to ensure Old Town quality standards are being met.

Clifford started his career in construction as a teenager, working in framing and roofing. He is an experienced metal fabricator and prior to moving into Project Management has built everything from Public Art to Hollywood movie vehicles in Buffalo, Brooklyn and Los Angeles. Clifford holds certificates in Construction Management and Project Management from UCLA and Cornell University, respectively.

When not at work, you can find him getting into trouble with his son Oscar, attending any number of live concerts, baking bread, cheering for the Buffalo Bills or fabricating an ever-growing list of personal projects

Cody Marks old town construction

Cody Marks

Superintendent

Cody joined Old Town Construction as an Assistant Superintendent. Currently, his responsibilities include working directly with the local municipalities and utilities in proactive coordination of future project site conditions.

Cody is a graduate of Purdue University’s Construction Management program and also holds a certification in wildlife sciences. Outside of work, Cody likes spending time with his family and when the weather allows, you can often find him spending his time in various outdoor recreation activities.

Neil Horkay

Assistant Superintendent

Neil joined Old Town Construction as an Assistant Superintendent after completing his summer internship with us. He is primarily responsible in assisting the Project Superintendent with the daily subcontractor coordination on site. He is also responsible for safety control, quality checks, and project punchlists.

Neil graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and a minor in Business Administration from Ball State University. Prior to joining Old Town, Neil has worked in residential construction as an intern. Outside of work, Neil enjoys spending his time hiking and skating.

Shane Nesbitt

Senior Superintendent

Martin Johnson

Senior Superintendent

Martin joined Old Town Construction as a Senior Superintendent. He is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and coordination of a new construction project.

Martin has been in Multifamily Construction for the past 17 years.  Prior to that, he was a Framing Superintendent for Contract Lumber for 10 years. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.

Wally Dahlkamp

Project Manager

Wally joined Old Town as an Assistant Project Manager and will be responsible for helping lead projects from start to finish. Wally holds a bachelors degree in Construction Management from Purdue University. Prior to Old Town, Wally began his career working for Power Construction under the Luxury Residential Group, where he was involved in several condo renovations and single-family ground-up projects.

Outside of work, Wally likes spending time at the dog park with his dog, Chevy, and at the gym with friends and family.

Connor Williams

Assistant Superintendent

Connor joined Old Town Construction as an Assistant Superintendent. He is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and coordination of a new construction project.

Connor was in Residential Construction prior to joining Old Town. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his 3 boys, hunting, and fishing.

Brian Boynton

Project Engineer

Brian joined Old Town as a Project Engineer and will be responsible for helping with document control, reviewing scopes, drafting subcontracts, and contractor coordination. Brian holds a bachelors degree in Construction Management from Purdue University and interned with Old Town twice prior to graduation.

Outside of work, Brian likes spending time outdoors, cooking, and traveling with friends.

Brayden Vandeventer

Project Engineer

Brayden joined Old Town as a Project Engineer and will be responsible for helping with document control, reviewing scopes, drafting subcontracts, and contractor coordination. Brayden holds a bachelors degree in Construction Management with a minor in Organizational Leadership from Purdue University and interned with Old Town prior to graduation.

Outside of work, Brayden likes cheering on the Colts and Pacers and hanging out with friends and family.

Sarah Krause

Staff Accountant

Sarah Krause has a background in local government finance and administration and has developed a strong passion for improving efficiency in both financial and operational processes. She lives in Fishers with her husband and three children. In her free time, she enjoys crafts, puzzles, volunteering, and spending time with her family.
